Corrie Woods Corrie Woods is a woman whose greatest joy in life is supporting
women in living lives they love by taking exquisite care of themselves.
Corrie knows all too the well the challenges of living a busy, multi-tasking life. She has traveled the winding path from stay-at-home homeschool mom, to program evaluator and designer for a non-profit serving low income families, to being in a top management position in a multi-million dollar corporation. Along the way she embraced her passion for coaching and completed a world class coach training program in 1999. Since that time she has developed an expertise in self-care coaching. “I don’t have a day job. I have a passion,” she proudly proclaims, and it shows up in powerful ways. These include: facilitating her popular self-care weekend retreats, interacting with coaching clients, sharing her message: to live a great life, it begins with taking great care of you! as an inspirational speaker, and through her writing. The Woman’s Field Guide to Exceptional Living was written for busy women, for women looking for greater balance and fun, and for women in need of the reminder that taking time for themselves is a gift they ultimately give the world. The book is short, playful, full of practical tips. Chapters include: Be a BOLD Woman, Invite Others Over to Play, Self-Courtship – Love Thy Self, Make More Mud Pies and more. Two of Corrie’s favorite authors
have this to say: Corrie Woods offers an irresistible invitation and resourceful guide to living a life boldly, creatively, and happily. She provides a wealth of ideas, practices, and tools that are inspirational, practical, and motivational. This is a book that makes a life-affirming positive contribution to any reader. - Angeles Arrien, Ph.D, Cultural Anthropologist and author of The Four-FoldWay Complimenting the book is a website rich in resources, www.womansfieldguide.com. A favorite feature is Spotlight on Exceptional Women, a forum filled with wonderful women Corrie is thrilled to spotlight to a global audience. Upcoming projects Corrie is blissfully excited about include more books in The Woman’s Field Guide Series and the launch of TheSelfCareCafe.com in October 2008, which will reflect the best of the best on the web regarding resources for women’s self-care.
