Thank you for visiting Beadwytch Creations. I hope you find something

Susie and her husband, Mick, departed the snowy climes of Chicago four
icy Januarys ago on their grand adventure to Western North Carolina. “Our
first spring here was so thrilling .... spring bulbs were already showing
color in February and we knew we had landed in heaven. We were
definitely guided here, and my jewelry is just another step along this
amazing journey.”
Susie works as Marketing and Membership Director for the Girl Scouts
of Western North Carolina, but her passion is making hand crafted jewelry,
which she plans to pursue as a full-time career when she retires in about
a year. “At the core of every thing I do is my feminist spirituality. Every
good decision I’ve made has been based largely on intuition and
listening to the subtle guidance of the Goddess. Whether covered
in the sweet earth of our beloved gardens, or working a new necklace
design, She whispers magic in my ears. I charge each piece I make
with a blessing for the health, beauty and enjoyment of the wearer.”

‘Byron’s Blues’ Bracelet:
This
piece is named for my dear friend, Asheville’s Village Witch, Byron
Ballard, in honor of her service to the earth, her beloved bees, and
especially to the sisterhood of women of all faiths in Asheville. Made
with Picasso finished Czech rondelles, sodalite beads, Bali silver spacers,
and pewter ornate focal beads with a pewter toggle clasp. (#B2201.5
- $45)

‘Dawn on the Orient Express’ Bracelet:
This piece has a real 1930’s vintage feel to it. I love the
richness of the iridescent gold cube beads. This woven bracelet, which
is based on a design by Regina Jiron, has a nice weighty feel, with a
lovely drape. I wish you exotic fantasies of a journey on the Orient
Express, or wherever else your imagination carries you. Dawn on the Orient
Express is a completely hand-woven bracelet using iridescent gold cube
beads, and iridescent peacock charlottes. (#B2101 - $42)

‘Dragonfly Blues’ Necklace:
Next to bees, dragonflies are my favorite insect. I love how they
skate the breezes. This necklace features an antiqued brass curl-tail
dragonfly, sea foam resin beads, oblate aqua blue opal stone finish rounds,
brown glow charlottes, and brass, small s clasp. (#N2901 - $58)

‘Asiana’ Earrings:

‘Verdant Glade’ Necklace:
There’s
a part of the forest in Door County, Wisconsin that is so intensely green
that the very air seems hued. The shades of green in the necklace
remind me of a magical day spent walking through this sacred place. The
necklace is made with a pewter violet leaf pendant, Swarovski pale green
pearls, blue/green iridescent cubes, malachite, jade, Bali antiqued silver
daisy spacers, pale mint green faceted Czech rounds, iridescent green
charlottes, silver plated chain and lobster clasp. (#N2902 - $58) |
