Susie Mamola

Susie and her husband, Mick, departed the snowy climes of Chicago four icy Januarys ago on their grand adventure to Western North Carolina.  “Our first spring here was so thrilling .... spring bulbs were already showing color in February and we knew we had landed in heaven.  We were definitely guided here, and my jewelry is just another step along this amazing journey.”

Susie works as Marketing and Membership Director for the Girl Scouts of Western North Carolina, but her passion is making hand crafted jewelry, which she plans to pursue as a full-time career when she retires in about a year.  “At the core of every thing I do is my feminist spirituality.  Every good decision I’ve made has been based largely on intuition and listening to the subtle guidance of the Goddess.  Whether covered in the sweet earth of our beloved gardens, or working a new necklace design, She whispers magic in my ears.  I charge each piece I make with a blessing for the health, beauty and enjoyment of the wearer.”
