Watercolors of North Carolina landscapes and nature

Fall Walk
Since moving to Asheville, NC in 2005, I have focused on watercolors, capturing
the beauty of the western North
Carolina mountain landscapes. Every day brings a new
delight to express in watercolors. This is indeed a beautiful
place with gorgeous vistas in every direction. I feel blessed
to be able to put these magical sights on paper. God’s
astonishing western North Carolina landscapes are inspiring.
Formerly an elementary teacher with an minor in art and an
oil painter in the Chicago area, Diane now lives in Woodfin with
her min pin, Dolly. While in the Chicago area, Diane studied art
part-time for over 40 years. Several years, she took classes at
the American Academy of Art. Chambers has won three Art
Contests at the NCCCR - Reuter Center since moving to Asheville.
Diane attends local Watercolor classes and workshops regularly.
You can contact Diane at pdchambers@charter.net or
828-271-4645 to arrange a viewing of her many watercolors at her home/studio,
just
7 minutes north of UNCA.
Also, her work can now be seen at Natural Health & Homeopathy on Merrimon Ave., across the street from Staples.
Diane is currently teaching Watercolor Classes for UNCA’s Super Saturday program.
